More than 260 volunteers give of their time to help keep Silverton Hospital running smoothly. In fact, in 2007 over 24,500 volunteer hours helped to support programs focused on service for this community.
Our volunteers were awarded the American Hospital Association's Hospital Award for Volunteer Excellence for their commitment to the CareVan medical transportation program. Our volunteers are truly indispensable within the Silverton Hospital family and we commend them for their efforts..

Weekly visits to patients are coordinated with our in-house chaplain.
