Psychologists study the physical, cognitive, emotional and social aspects of behavior. They have a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and development, psychological problems, personality characteristics and knowledge about how people think, feel and behave.

Most important, psychologists know how to apply this knowledge to help people with behavior change. This is especially helpful with individuals in personal crisis which may range from divorce to the death of a loved one.
